Dr Shelechi is a dentist anesthesiologist serving all of Southern California. He completed his Anesthesiology residency at NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn, which is a level one trauma & stroke center in Brooklyn, New York. His extensive training in a hospital based medical anesthesiology residency has equipped Dr Shelechi to provide various levels of anesthesia, ranging from light sedation to complete general anesthesia for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with varying levels of health.
Dr Shelechi strives to assist patients through the often anxiety inducing dental procedures by developing individualized anesthetic plans based on each patient's medical history and level of anesthesia required. It is Dr Shelechi's belief that by keeping patients well informed and by spending the necessary time to discuss any concerns and questions, the often stressful dental appointment can be made much more comfortable.
Dr. Shelechi understands firsthand the stress and discomfort of dealing with anxiety due to an upcoming dental procedure and his open and sensitive approach puts patients at ease. His philosophy is that every patient should be cared for like they are family.
